Rob Shrum is the founder and CEO of Nexus Public Affairs. Rob has extensive advocacy, government affairs, and technology and telecommunications policy experience.

Previously, Shrum led external affairs and stakeholder engagement solutions at the state and local government relations company MultiState. Prior to that, Shrum held leadership roles with National Taxpayers Union and National Taxpayers Union Foundation, led grassroots advocacy programs for CTIA - The Wireless Association, and also worked at organizations such as the American Legislative Exchange Council and Tax Foundation.

Rob has a Master’s Degree in Political Management from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Public Administration from Middle Tennessee State University.
